Iranian supreme leader, president discuss military and economic issues

Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has met with President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss military and economic issues, Report informs.

Khamenei announced this on his X social media account.

"A meeting was held between Pezeshkian, who is entering the third year of his presidency, and the supreme leader, during which the country's economic and military issues were discussed," the post said.

During the meeting, the sides discussed Iran's key challenges, including meeting the needs of the population.

They also held a detailed exchange of views on the current wartime conditions, future prospects, the development of the defense and energy sectors, ways to ensure foreign currency reserves, expenditure management and international economic cooperation.
