Iranian aircraft seized at Istanbul Airport

Legal proceedings have been initiated against Iran's Caspian Airlines, which operates flights from Istanbul Airport to Iran, over an outstanding debt.

According to Report, citing Haber Global, lawyers representing the creditor company and enforcement officers arrived at Istanbul Airport in connection with the airline's €3 million debt.

They requested that an aircraft belonging to the Iranian carrier, bearing registration number EP-KPB and preparing for a flight to Iran, be prevented from taking off.

Subsequently, enforcement officers ordered passengers to disembark from the aircraft. The passengers were escorted back to the terminal, and the aircraft was placed under seizure.
