Iran declares August 2-3 non-working days due to extreme heat

Iran has declare two non-working days due to extreme heat across the country, according to the representative of the Iranian government Ali Bahadori Jahromi, Report informs referring to IRNA.
“In order to protect the health of citizens due to the unprecedented heat these days, the Council of Ministers adopted the proposal of the Ministry of Health to hold days off on Wednesday and Thursday throughout the country,” he wrote.
Local media reports that Iran has experienced extremely hot weather in recent weeks. It is expected that on August 2, in some cities in the southwest of the country, the air temperature will reach 51 degrees.
