Iran and Philippines FMs discuss Middle East tensions

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with his Philippine counterpart Maria Theresa Lazaro and discussed tensions in the Middle East, Report informs with reference to Araghchi's post on Telegram.
During the conversation, Lazaro expressed condolences over the deaths of the Supreme Leader (Ali Khamenei), a group of Iranian officials, and citizens during the military attacks by the United States and Israel.
She expressed hope for a swift end to the war and the establishment of lasting peace and stability in the region.
Araghchi informed his Philippine counterpart about the ongoing war and linked the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz to the attacks by the United States and Israel:
"Iran, despite tensions in the region, has ensured the safe movement of vessels and ships of non-hostile countries."
