Explosion reported at Russian military airbase in Engels

An explosion occurred in the Russian city of Engels, which is located near the city of Saratov and where the military airbase of the Russian strategic bombers is located, Report informs.
An air alert was declared in the area of the Russian military airfield, and air defense systems were activated.
On December 26, a drone attack on that airfield resulted in several Russian soldiers being killed and wounded.
