Erdogan says Hurjet expected to enter service in 2025

Hurjet, Türkiye's first indigenous supersonic combat aircraft is expected to enter service in 2025, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during his speech at the IDEF-2023 exhibition, Report informs.

According to him, Türkiye's success in the defense industry is increasing day by day: "In 2002, we had a total of 57 companies operating in this field. Today, the number of companies has reached 2,500."
