Europe reaps what it sows, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a briefing before his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Europe's anti-Putin position and the imposition of sanctions inevitably brought Putin to the level of 'if you do this, I will do the same' against them," the Turkish leader said.
"And Putin uses all the opportunities and tools at his disposal. Among them, natural gas is the most important. Unfortunately, we would not like it, but such a situation has developed in Europe. Europe will have hard winter. But we don't have such a problem," Erdogan added.
