Ekaterina Pop: Nearly 20 residential complexes hit in strikes on Kyiv

As a result of large-scale Russian strikes on Kyiv overnight, residential areas of the city were affected, Ekaterina Pop, a representative of the Kyiv City Military Administration, told Report.

According to her, attack drones as well as various types of missiles were used during the attack:

"According to the latest data, severe consequences have been recorded in approximately 20 residential complexes across 6 districts of Kyiv. Numerous residential buildings have been damaged. In the Darnytskyi district, part of a building's entrance section has been completely destroyed. Emergency rescue and search operations are currently ongoing there."

Pop noted that more than ten people have already been pulled from the rubble, and the search continues:

"In the Dniprovskyi district, high-rise and private residential buildings were affected; in the Holosiivskyi district, a business center and a warehouse burned down, and a private residential house was also damaged. In the Obolonskyi district, a school roof was damaged, and a business center and non-residential buildings burned down. As a result of the strike on the capital, approximately 40 people were injured, and two people were killed. Most of the injured have been hospitalized in medical facilities, where they are receiving qualified medical care."
