Chief Epidemiologist: No Indian strain detected in Georgia

Georgia has not registered a single case of infection with the Indian strain of the novel coronavirus, Report informs, citing Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia.
“Laboratory studies of the mutated COVID-19 variants are ongoing,” the chief epidemiologist of the country said.
“So far, mostly 'British strains' have been identified in Georgia,” he added.
