An Iranian delegation has departed for Zurich to hold talks with the United States on the implementation of the memorandum.
According to IRIB, cited by Report, the delegation includes Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council for International Affairs Ali Bagheri, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, head of the National Iranian Oil Company Hamid Bord, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, and other officials.
According to Baghaei, the purpose of the visit is to monitor the implementation of the parties' commitments.
"Given the evidence of violations by the other side, we must firmly insist on compliance with the terms of the agreement," he said.
An Iranian delegation is traveling to Switzerland for talks with the United States, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said, Report informs via ISNA.
He clarified that the planned meeting is not part of a second round of negotiations but is intended to discuss compliance with the terms of the agreement.
Baghaei stated that the first provision of the memorandum of understanding covers the most important aspect of the parties' mutual commitments - the cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.
"We have fulfilled our obligations. However, the other side was expected to compel its allies, particularly Israel, to implement a ceasefire in Lebanon. We have not seen this happen, and it constitutes a clear violation of one of the agreement's conditions," he said.
He added that commitments related to lifting the maritime blockade and reopening the Strait of Hormuz had been fulfilled. However, he stressed that the memorandum is a comprehensive and mutually beneficial agreement.
"If any provision is not implemented, the entire deal is put at risk, and in this case, the first provision is the most important part of the agreement," Baghaei said.
According to him, the United States must take the necessary steps as soon as possible to fulfill its obligations.
