Baku Security Forum platform presented at UN headquarters

At the United Nations headquarters in New York, a presentation on the Baku Security Forum and its operational platform - the Counter-Terrorism Information Exchange System (CTIES) - was held as part of the Fourth UN Counter-Terrorism Week, Report informs, citing the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
The event took place on the day of the Fourth High-Level Conference of Heads of Counter-Terrorism Agencies of UN Member States.
As noted, the event dedicated to the review of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy and related issues, Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation of employees from the State Security Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the presentation organized by the Azerbaijani delegation, Head of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office Alexander Zuev and Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN Tofig Musayev delivered speeches.
Deputy Head of the State Security Service and member of the organizing committee of the Baku Security Forum Hasan Mansurov presented information about the Baku Security Forum and CTIES. It was noted that the forum brings together more than 150 security and intelligence agencies from over 100 countries.
It was reported that activities are continuing toward the legal and institutional development of the Forum and its transformation into an international organization.
