Zelenskyy says US, Ukrainian teams working to set dates for Witkoff-Kushner visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had a detailed and constructive phone conversation with US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Report informs, citing a post by Zelenskyy on X.
He said dialogue between the negotiating teams of the United States and Ukraine was continuing on an ongoing basis and that the sides were now working to finalize dates for Witkoff and Kushner to visit Ukraine.
According to Zelenskyy, such a visit would be highly beneficial in helping to work out solutions for peace.
The Ukrainian president said he had also briefed Witkoff and Kushner on the situation on the battlefield, where, according to him, Russia's gains had been limited and achieved at the cost of heavy losses, as well as on the strikes.
He noted that Witkoff and Kushner were familiar with many details and said the US and Ukrainian teams would remain in close contact to work out the agenda and the most suitable schedule for further communication.
Zelenskyy thanked President Donald Trump, Witkoff, Kushner and everyone in the United States working to make peace a joint achievement.
