Witkoff: US, Russia, and Ukraine may soon announce trilateral talks

Following his meeting in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff stated that the United States, Russia, and Ukraine may soon announce trilateral negotiations.

According to Report, citing Ukrainian media, Witkoff noted that President Donald Trump tasked him and his son‑in‑law Jared Kushner with preparing agreements aimed at ending the war.

Kushner said that one of the things he and Steve Witkoff considered truly productive was returning to the trilateral format they had managed about six months earlier. He noted that they had spoken with both sides and expressed hope that progress on the matter would be achieved soon.

Witkoff described the talks in Kyiv as important and substantive.
