US Navy redirects 86 Iran-linked commercial vessels

Since the resumption of the maritime blockade against Iran, the US Navy has redirected 86 commercial vessels linked to Iran, either heading to or departing from Iranian ports, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on X, Report informs.
"The US Navy continues to strictly enforce the US blockade against Iran. As of September 2, US forces have redirected 86 commercial vessels, disabled 3 and boarded 2 to ensure compliance," reads the post.
The blockade was reinstated on July 14.
