US hands over 11 more military bases to South Korea

An agreement was reached on December 11 to hand over 11 military bases under the power of the US Armed Forces to the control of South Korea, Report informs, referring to RIA Novosti.
According to the Korean Defense Ministry, in December 2019, the United States returned four unused military bases to South Korea and said it would give 13 more.
However, the parties can not get a deal on the amount of money spent cleaning the environment after delivering the bases. Earlier, it was reported that it would take two years and $ 921 million to clear the territory of four military bases returned last year.
