Ukraine's Supreme Rada approves Arsen Avakov's resignation

The Parliament of Ukraine has released Arsen Avakov from the post of minister of internal affairs, which he had occupied since February 2014. Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that 291 parliament members supported the decision at the session, with the necessary minimum of 226 votes.
Avakov earlier wrote a letter of resignation. The Supreme Rada decides on resignation.
