Ukraine's armed forces say they struck Russian drone launch sites

Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out strikes on a number of Russian military facilities on August 28 and overnight into August 29.
According to RBC-Ukraine, cited by Report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said the strikes targeted sites used to store, prepare and launch attack drones in the Donetsk area and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Ukrainian General Staff also said that a Russian electronic warfare system was hit in Crimea.
Another target was a UAV command post in Berestky, in the Russian-controlled part of Ukraine"s Donetsk region.
The extent of the damage is being clarified.
In addition, the Ukrainian General Staff said that a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed in Russia"s Bryansk region on August 28.
"Operations against key enemy military targets are continuing," the statement said.
