UKMTO: Cargo ship attacked near Yemen's Balhaf

A cargo vessel was attacked 88 nautical miles southwest of the city of Balhaf, Yemen.
According to Report, citing the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the ship reported that a small vessel carrying six armed individuals approached it.
According to the statement, an exchange of fire took place between the small boat and the armed security team aboard the cargo ship, after which the attackers' vessel retreated.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
