Trump declares US will soon defeat Iran

US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States will soon achieve victory over Iran, stressing the importance of preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

According to Report, Trump made the remarks in an interview with GB News:

The American leader said that, in his view, the victory had already been achieved because Iran could not possess nuclear weapons.

Trump claimed that without US strikes against Iran, Tehran could have obtained nuclear weapons within two to four weeks, but now that timeline has allegedly been extended to up to 25 years.

US president added that he had acted correctly.

He also stated that Washington is successfully conducting military operations against Iran and maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz.
