Taliban Kill 16 Afghan servicemen in Nangarhar province

Taliban militants attacked Afghanistan's security forces in Nangarhar's eastern province, leaving at least 16 soldiers killed and more injured, Report says, citing TASS.
According to the sources, the militants targeted Afghan army checkpoints and police in the Gandumak area of Nangarhar's Khogyani district.
Qatar's Foreign Ministry reported earlier that inter-Afghan talks in Doha would begin on September 12. A member of the Taliban leadership, Abdul Ghani Baradar, and representatives of the radical movement's delegation arrived in the Qatari capital. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said they had formed a commission to participate in talks with the Afghan government, including 21 people.
