NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has called on NATO member states to increase defense spending, invest in modern facilities and increase the readiness of their armed forces to combat global threats such as Russia's aggression, terrorism, and China's rise, Report states, citing TASS.
Stoltenberg stressed that the alliance must be ready to deal with any threat that arises in a more unpredictable and competitive world. "Our democracy, our values, and the rules-based world order are being challenged. Therefore, we must be ready to face any threats that the future may bring, " he added.
