Spain-S5+Azerbaijan forum to be held in Tashkent this year

An international forum titled Spain-S5+Azerbaijan will be held in Tashkent later this year, according to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture.

The ministry said representatives discussed preparations for the event during a meeting with officials from the Spanish Embassy, including organizational matters and the forum's agenda.

The event is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, investors and business representatives from the agricultural sector seeking to establish new partnerships, promote investment projects and introduce modern agricultural technologies.

The meeting also highlighted the forum's role in expanding the use of scientific research and innovation in agriculture. The two sides discussed opportunities to study Spain's experience in water-saving technologies, intensive horticulture, the food industry and agricultural education.

Representatives of Uzbekistan and Spain expressed confidence that the forum will strengthen bilateral cooperation in agriculture, support the implementation of joint projects and expand ties between the business communities of the two countries.
