Russia claims strikes on 4 energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine's Odesa

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has claimed overnight strikes on four energy infrastructure facilities in Odesa and the Odesa region of Ukraine that supported port operations, Report informs, citing Russian media references to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"During the night of September 2, four energy infrastructure facilities supporting the functioning of Ukrainian ports were hit in Odesa and the Odesa region," the department stated.

According to claims by the Russian Defense Ministry, strikes in the port of Odesa also targeted an uncrewed surface vessel manufacturing facility, six fuel storage tanks intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and warehouses storing military-technical equipment.

Additionally, the Russian military department claimed that on the evening of September 1, it launched a drone strike against the Chaiky logistics center in the Kyiv region, owned by the Alfa Development Group company.
