Militants of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas have informed Israel of their readiness to release some of the hostages they were holding in exchange for an immediate ceasefire, BBC correspondent Frank Gardner wrote on X, Report informs referring to TASS.
He noted that the parties have not reached an agreement on this issue.
Earlier, Israeli Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi told TASS that he sees no progress in the release of hostages held by Hamas. He said that Israel demands that the radicals “unilaterally release women, children and the elderly.”
