Latvian government declares emergency on Belarus border

At a session on Tuesday, the Latvian government adopted the proposal of the Minister of Interior Marija Golubeva to declare an emergency on the border with Belarus due to the inflow of illegal migrants.
Report informs, citing TASS, that the emergency will be valid through November 10.
"The government's decision to introduce emergency on Latvian border has been accepted. The reinforcement of the border security will take place right away," the interior minister tweeted.
