Latvia plans 300% tariff on grain imports from Russia, Belarus

Latvia plans to impose a 300% tariff on grain imported from Russia and Belarus, Report informs, citing Latvian media.

Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs said the government also intends to develop mechanisms to detect illegal shipments of Ukrainian grain and impose sanctions.

Kulbergs said the issue had already been discussed with Estonia and that Latvia plans to hold similar talks with Lithuania.
