Kuwait strongly condemns Iranian strikes on country's territory

Kuwait has strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks on its territory, the latest of which is Sunday mornings attack which is a blatant violation of the country's sovereignty, the foreign ministry said, Report informs referring to the Kuwait Times.

The attacks are a direct threat to Kuwait's security, stability and the safety of civilians, and represent a clear violation of the UN Charter, the ministry noted.

The continued Iranian attacks at a time when regional de-escalation efforts are ongoing undermines those efforts and challenges the international determination to achieve that goal, the ministry added.

The Foreign Ministry reiterated Kuwait's right to take all necessary measures to protect its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents, and ministry concluded.
