The prices on automobile fuel at Czech fuel stations have reached an all-time high, Report informs, citing TASS, which refers to Mladá fronta DNES.
Fuel prices per liter have grown by 6.5% for the week ending February 24. The average price of a liter of gasoline at filling stations has reached 39.36 korunas (around $1.7). A liter of diesel fuel is about 38.73 korunas (slightly below $1.7).
The rapid price hike in Czech Republic is caused by growing oil prices in global markets in response to Russia's military operation in Ukraine.
