Financial aid to citizens and businesses affected by floods in the West of Germany has already exceeded 200 million euros, Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, head of the Christian Democratic Union Armin Laschet said, Report informs referring to TASS.
From July 12, showers have been observed for several days in the west and south-west of Germany, which caused a devastating flood.
