A fire broke out at the largest Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor plant in Aichi, Report informs, citing TASS.
A Toyota Motor 7203.T spokeswoman noted that the incident did not affect production and caused no injuries.
The fire erupted at a production technology development building where there is no manufacturing equipment, the spokeswoman said, adding that firefighters were working to contain the fire as of 0630 GMT.
A total of 300 people were evacuated from the buildings on the enterprise's territory and adjacent structures.
