The European Union (EU) intends to remove Japanese citizens from the list of countries whose citizens are allowed to visit the EU, Report informs, citing Bloomberg.
The decision is said to be linked to an increase in coronavirus infections in Japan.
The updated 'white list' will include only seven countries whose citizens will be allowed to travel to the EU. These are Australia, China, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand.
