Over the past day, the United States confirmed 45,303 new coronavirus cases, and 490 COVID-related deaths, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local authorities, media, and other open sources.
A day earlier, medicals specialists in the US recorded more than 56,000 cases of COVID-19 and 1,038 deaths.
In total, since the pandemic onset, the United States has recorded over 33.1 million cases of infection. To date, the country’s coronavirus death toll has exceeded 590,000.
