Russia should be stripped of its UN Human Rights Council membership, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, Report informs, citing Ukrainian media.
According to him, Russia's crimes in Ukraine are increasing every hour.
"This country should not remain as a member of the Council, as it has caused a great humanitarian crisis by violating human rights," Blinken said.
Blinken also warned of a deepening humanitarian crisis, noting rocket attacks on civilian targets such as hospitals and schools.
"An international investigation should be launched into Russia's human rights violations," the US diplomat said.
