Belarus's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Aleinik claims that the European Union is not making serious efforts to hold a dialogue with Minsk to resolve the migrant crisis, Report informs via RIA Novosti.
According to Aleinik, Belarus has no plans to solve the problem unilaterally:
"Our persistent efforts since April to at least some communication, dialogue, and consultation on migration issues have gone unanswered, or rather, we have received a negative official response. Thus, today we are seeing no efforts from the European Union to solve these problems."
The deputy minister stressed that the Belarusian government had stated its readiness for dialogue at all stages but without preconditions.
"This problem must be solved jointly," he stressed.
