70% of population in Spain vaccinated against COVID

In Spain, 70 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted, Report informs.
He previously stated that 90 percent of Spanish residents over 40 received both doses of the vaccine. Among young people, this figure exceeds 70 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, COVID-19 has been detected in almost 4.9 million people, 84,400 people have succumbed to coronavirus, and almost 4.4 million have fully recovered.
