Turkey has tested an air defense system that destroys long-range and high-altitude targets, Ismail Demir, chairman of the country's Defense Industry Committee, said on Twitter.
"After the handover of HISAR-A +, our HISAR-O + medium-altitude air defense system successfully passed the test by hitting and destroying the farthest and the highest air target ever made in our country in the last shot," he wrote.
The chairman of the committee thanked ASELSAN and Roketsan for working together on the project.
