ANAMA to buy 30 more mine dogs

ANAMA is planning to get 30 mine dogs by 2023, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), Vugar Suleymanov, told Report.
According to him, 20 of them have already been sent to the agency: "12 of the specially trained dogs were bought by ANAMA, and 18 were bought by individual donors. It is expected to continue the existing cooperation and bring new dogs in the coming years."
The chairman also reminded that last year there was an increase in the number of specially trained dogs involved in demining operations.
