Korotchenko: Azerbaijan's Karabakh victory - epoch-making date in modern history

The victory of Azerbaijan in the Second Karabakh War is an epoch-making date in modern history, the Director General of the Caspian Institute for Strategic Studies (Russia) Igor Korotchenko told Report.

“This victory was the result of decades of persistent state building, the creation of one of the best armies of the modern world. Azerbaijan managed to build an effective diversified economy and create a political system adapted to solving state problems. All this characterizes the 20 years that President Ilham Aliyev has been in power. President Ilham Aliyev united the society to achieve a common victory. I congratulate the Azerbaijani people on this outstanding date,” the political scientist concluded.
