Today, the first 3D-printed house in Germany was officially opened in Beckum, North Rhine-Westphalia.
According to the provincial construction ministry, the two-story detached house with an area of about 160 square meters was built of multi-story blocks filled with unique material. Construction work has been greatly simplified with the application of 3D technology, resulting in shorter construction time.
During the handover ceremony, the provincial transport minister, Ina Scharrenbach, said that the pilot project, which cost about 200,000 euros, had every opportunity to be widely implemented in the future.
