Tajikistan keen to transport cargo through Caspian Sea

Baku. 8 January. REPORT.AZ/ Today, "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping" CJSC has held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Rustam Soli.

Report informs citing the "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping" CJSC, during the meeting, Chairman Rauf Valiyev informed the guest about the work carried out in the field of maritime transport in Azerbaijan, achievements in the fleet modernization, contribution of the republic to the development of transport corridors.

Soli got closely acquainted with the transit capabilities of the company. He said that Tajikistan is interested in transporting cargo to the international markets through the Caspian Sea.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation.
