Somali diplomat: Housing provision becoming increasingly difficult across all continents

The issue of housing provision is becoming increasingly difficult across all continents.

Report informs that Somalia's ambassador to Kenya, Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, said this at an event titled "Housing at the Centre of Global Coalitions," held as part of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

According to him, it is time to take serious steps in the field of housing provision:

"As wars and migration continue around the world, the problem of homelessness will remain relevant. If we want to make progress in this area, we must be open to economic cooperation."

The diplomat stressed that Azerbaijan also takes a highly sensitive approach to these issues:

"Housing provision and ongoing crises are being widely discussed on the platform created. We hope that every issue discussed will bring us closer to an optimal solution."
