Elnara Ansari at WUF13: Necessary to promote concept of inclusive city

Social benefits in Azerbaijan are established proactively, without requiring citizens to submit additional applications or documents, Elnara Ansari, director of the Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity at DOST and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Agency for State Support to NGOs, said at an event during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

According to her, this approach is also attracting interest internationally, and other countries are exploring it.

Ansari also emphasized the need to further advance the concept of an inclusive and accessible city: "Accessibility means not only physical infrastructure but also equal participation. Azerbaijan is one of the first countries in the region to implement such a system."
