Baku Metro: Reconstruction of one of platforms at Jafar Jabbarly station nearing completion

Reconstruction of one of the platforms at the Jafar Jabbarly station of the Baku Metro is nearing completion, said Bakhtiyar Mammadov, head of the press service of Baku Metro CJSC, Report informs.

He noted that various technical work is underway on the Jafar Jabbarly-Khatai section as part of the project to separate the two lines of the Baku Metro.

"The reconstruction of one of the platforms at the Jafar Jabbarly station is in its final stages. After the construction of an additional pedestrian staircase, which will take place soon, the platform will be open to passengers. However, as part of the line separation project, new tunnels are planned from the Jafar Jabbarly station to the Nizami station, so infrastructure synchronization work will be carried out," Mammadov added.
