Azerbaijan, Türkiye to jointly build pharmaceutical production plant

The Azerbaijan Investment Company and the Turkish pharmaceutical company Gen İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. have signed joint participation and cooperation agreements for the establishment of a pharmaceutical products manufacturing plant in Pirallahi Industrial Park equipped with state-of--the-art technologies, Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said, Report informs.

"At the initial stage, the enterprise with an investment volume of $35 million will have a production capacity of 35 million boxes. We will continue our collaborative efforts with our brotherly country to enhance economic ties across all sectors," he tweeted.
