Women's volleyball team of Azerbaijan reaches EuroVolley round of 16

Azerbaijan's women's volleyball team advanced to the round of 16 of the European Championship despite losing to the Netherlands in their final group-stage match in Baku.

According to Report, Faig Garayev's team faced the Netherlands in the final match of Group C.

The match, held at the National Gymnastics Arena, ended with a 3–1 victory for the Dutch team.

Azerbaijan finished third in the group with eight points and secured a place in the European Championship round of 16.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani team defeated Portugal, Serbia and Romania, while losing to Belgium.
