Tokyo 2020: Athletes banned from contact with locals

The Japanese government intends to ban athletes and delegations from contact with locals during the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said speaking in parliament.
He noted that they planned to take strict restrictive measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The Tokyo Summer Olympics were to be held July 24 - August 9, 2020. The games have been postponed to July 23 - August 8 this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
