President Cup 2026 international regatta kicks off in Sugovushan

The international President Cup 2026 regatta in rowing and canoeing, dedicated to the 103rd birth anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, has kicked off in Sugovushan, Report's correspondent assigned to the competition informs.
The tournament, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation, features rowers in various age groups competing in 200-meter races in single kayak and canoe boats.
More than 100 athletes from Azerbaijan, Czechia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are taking part in the tournament.
The regatta will end on May 1.
