Azerbaijani canoeist wins gold at European Championships

Azerbaijani canoeist Bogdan Kurudz has won a gold medal at the European Championships held in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal.
The Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation told Report that he finished first in the Masters category for athletes aged 35-39.
Kurudz, who competed in the men's canoe single over 500 meters, left all his rivals behind to become European champion.
Bogdan Kurudz will also compete in the canoe single over 200 meters on June 13.
