Trial continues for ethnic Armenian suspects accused of war crimes

A court hearing is underway in the criminal case against ethnic Armenian individuals accused of committing war crimes.
According to Report, the trial, presided over by Judge Zeynal Aghayev of the Baku Military Court, is being held at the Baku Court Complex.
In the previous hearing, the victims gave their testimonies.
The defendants are accused of crimes against peace and humanity committed against Azerbaijan and its people by the Republic of Armenia and its armed forces, as well as the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" and its illegal armed groups established in Azerbaijan"s formerly occupied territories. Charges include waging an aggressive war, genocide, forced displacement of civilians, persecution, torture, looting, and other violations of international humanitarian law.
