Another 1,992 mines found in liberated territories of Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) announced the number of mines detected in August during the demining operations in the liberated territories, Report informs.
According to ANAMA, 972 anti-personnel mines, 1,020 anti-tank mines, and 1,121 unexploded ordnance were found and neutralized during mine clearance operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.
As a result, 5,264 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
